FAQ

Will the boom arm hold my microphone?

If your microphone or shock mount has a 3/8" or 5/8" connection (which most microphones and shock mounts have), it can be used with this boom arm. Click here for an overview of all compatible microphones.

Can I put my microphone upside down on this mount without falling?

Yes. As long as the microphone can be screwed onto the boom arm, it can be put into any position without falling.

Is the boom arm suitable for my desk?

The table clamp is suitable for desks with a minimum thickness of 18mm and a maximum thickness of 65mm.

Do I need to use a shock mount when using this boom arm?

We generally recommend using a shock mount to absorb small shocks and vibrations which results in a clean audio recording. For these microphones it is also required to use a shock mount to mount it to this boom arm.
